Mission

It’s safe to say that in today’s fast-paced media world, there are a million different television shows to choose from. These programs come, they entertain, they give us a couple of laughs, maybe a few tears, and then they go. But very rarely do you see a series that actually says something, that actually means something, that actually matters to people.

Girl Meets World may have started on Disney Channel as a light-hearted comedy, but what it became was a guidebook to coming of age, a story about growing up in a complex world, and a reminder that each and every one of us is figuring out how to find our way, face our problems, and learn how to become the best version of ourselves we can possibly be.

The show itself has tackled topics such as religion, poverty, politics, bullying and has even introduced an Autistic character. She, along with the rest of the multi-cultural cast, has given immense support to groups of people who have never seen this kind of representation before.

Through all three of its seasons, Girl Meets World has stayed to true to its message: a message that pushes its audience to realize their unwavering ability to love, to care, to hope, to aspire, to fight and to believe. It has taught its fans to always use their voices and to remember that even in a time where it seems like the little guy has no voice at all…anyone can still truly make a difference if they try.

So even though Disney Channel has decided to prematurely cancel Girl Meets World, we as a collective fandom have taken heart in what the writers, cast, and crew have presented to us. We have taken their lessons, we have applied them to real life situations and we have decided to try and move the mountains they so furiously encouraged us to believe we could move.

We have decided to save Girl Meets World.

And we want you to help us do it.

First, we want to convince Disney Channel to release the rights to the show. Next, we find another network to pick up this unique and wonderful program and continue its 25 year long legacy.

The only way to do this is to raise our voices and to be heard. And together, we think we have figured out some of the most effective ways to do this. So search this website, read about our efforts, figure out what you can do to help, and join the fight.

Girl Meets World has taught us a lot of things, but above all, it has taught us to have hope when it seems like all may be lost. So let’s come together and scream our love for this series from the rooftops, so that we can continue to learn, grow, change, and experience life alongside this incredible cast.

We’re still not quite ready to meet the world alone.
